I've not done a sequential conversion before so i would like some help
on this issue/

The last conversion i did was 6-7 years ago on a 20 year old sierra
....and performed faultlessly right to the end of the cars life ...(open
loop gms)

My new car

I'm currently rebuilding the engine ...due to start with the conversion
in the next two weeks {Dream 21)

The car rover 420

The wires I have to splice into are like telephone wires ...half the
diameter of wiring I'm used to.

What I would like to see are some close up pics from one or two of you
...of your splices.

You see I don't like the idea of using block connectors.

and I hate those scotch lock things

so if you have done it by any method other than above please show it to
me/

Prime goals are a neat installation ..that looks and is very
professional and is unlikely to suffer any faults from poor
connections.

so come on guys show me your splices ...that's if you're proud of your
work.

I'm cross posting this in other groups and forums so I get as many
opinions as possible........I will then go with what I consider the
best method.

All the best..mark

I did a BIgas gas injection kit but the only wire that required joining
to was the rpm signal and I used a scotch connector for that. All the
others required cutting and I
used spade connectors for those with solder. I like to use spade
connectors whereever possible because I take the kit out once I've
finished and moved to the next car.
It is much quicker.
