The stuff is thinner than 20W. found a 10mm bolt on the bottom and removed it. nowt came out. there was a tiny bit of very thin oil on the end of the bolt.

That's not a guaranteed. On the bigger OMVLs, you have 2 outlets, one top and one bottom. If you run the gas outlet from the bottom one, then you should be OK. If not, then you'll have a plug of some kind on the bottom outlet which you can use to drain it. I also have a lovato one on the car which has a drain plug at the bottom -- Austin Shackles. www.ddol-las.net my opinions are just that Appearances: You don't really need make-up. It was really simple. The filter was totally blocked with iron filings. They stripped it down, cleaned everything and put me a new filter in) Why did nobody suggest checking that? ;) I didnt even know there was a filter there! I must have just been frequently visited by the iron filing fairy. The guy there didnt think it would be the filter immediately either. First guess was a sticky solenoid. He chased down where the blockage was by loosening the pipes off till we got hissing. I had a chat with them about LPI kits while i was there as they sound like fun but they all have in-tank pumps which dont last long - and i can see why from the amount of crud blocking my filter! |
