The coordinates are approximate from Google Earth due to the inacuraces of the pointer. Mr Firth wrote "Another detail which seems to have escaped your pointy little head is that any sign on the A629 is unlikely to be anything to do with the Highways Agency. Not that I expect anythign like accuracy, honesty, or even intelligence to get in the way of your continuing rants against the HA which appear to be founded entirely on yoru ignorance, inability to drive and inability to use satnav." Firstly check your spelling. I'm only criticising the HA as much as you defend them. I understand that the HA are responsible for the Junction 17 of the M60 and the A56 at Whitefield Greater Manchester. Praise is due here as red tarmac has been put down to guide drivers in following the correct course at the roundabout. However, the black and white "sharp deviation" signs have been missing for years. How about recycling the 2 inaccurate signs for Birch Services. What evidence is there for any inability to drive and use satnav?
From: baggy1963 on 16 Apr 2008 17:59 I agree with Mr Firth that it would be beneficial if HA vehicles had blue lights.
