Why are cyclists more important than people not on bikes?

They are more highly trained than the general public, yes.
Nobody has claimed they are infallible, and their need to drive at higher
speeds means that some accidents are inevitable.
The alternative is driving at 10mph or less to all emergencies. How many
people would die that way?
They need to strike a sensible balance between the severity of the incident
and the speed they drive at, but in the main they do this very well.

It's not "so called". It *is* a driving test.

Which driver was at fault?
You seem to be sure. Were you there?

As is quite right.

I can see a cyclist from my lounge Doug.
Does that mean a discussion of the double glazing would be acceptable?

While we are on the subject, is public nakedness acceptable?

What shame the block didn't let the paint dry before riding. Having a hole
in one's shorts is just so uncool.
