Thatcher brought in the "me" and "greed is good" culture. She destroyed
most of Northern England as she decimated the mining, steel and
shipbuilding industry. Actually thinking about the mining industry I
wonder how much money it her vendetta against the NUM has cost the UK?
Certainly the bill is still rising. Her government presided over the
decimation of manufacturing in the UK.
