Seriously though, who on earth arrives at Liverpool Street at 0615? If you are doing this regularly, you need to reexamine your life choices. tom -- Yulava? Niob Yam!

Platforms are not highways, so [Road] Traffic Regulations don't generally apply. However, there are almost certainly byelaws that do apply. -- MatSav

Though I wouldn't do that for a long period for any money - an 0800ish arrival in London is quite early enough for me. Neil

Those things aren't cheap to replace. Though many cyclists will also be at the lower-income end, and despite these people being those who most need insurance (as a lump sum to replace a load of things at once would be a big problem) they are often those who are least likely to have it, I suppose. It is interesting that out-of-home third party liability is covered by home insurance, though - I imagine many people don't know that. Maybe if it were a separate piece of cover like it is in Germany (one that they consider quite important) people might be more aware of it. Neil |
