So what's the best anti-theft device? A car alarm that can broad cast
to you that your car is being tampered with (with like a quarter mile
range, a loJack, a fuel cut off, a steering wheel lock, or ?????

actually, there is a better device or two.
lojack will only phone home when the computer is connected to an online
computer in a shop.
Recently, name escapes me right now, I saw a device that can give you live
online reports of your vehicle's location.
Another device simply builds up data and when in range of a cell tower,
makes a call and delivers that data to the home base.

I'd personally go with a fuel cut off device.

Wheel locks are only to easy to bypass.
What people don't realize about "The club" is, it may be hacksaw proof, but
the wheel isn't. Cut the wheel on either side of the club, slip it out and
away you go. Or, simply replace the steering wheel.

Hey stupid. The best anti-theft device is to drive a beater. You
won't do that cuz you're an inferior weakling who needs status symbols
to throw in the face of your idiot neighbors. You're a stupid insect.
