I believe that the EPA had to close down just about every Mitsubishi car club for just that reason ;-)

Now that the cash for clunkers scheme has been announced, Mitsubishi is hurriedly trying to organise the country's entire fleet of car transporters so they can get their many remaining "new old stock" 380's into the crusher at 2 grand each rather than for a total dead loss before the scheme runs out of money :) -- Regards, Noddy.

Not that many of their owners are likely to be tempted by such a lousy offer. If the scheme were really serious they'd advance the manufacturing date and get rid of the real rubbish, some of which aren't even manufactured any more. Daresay they could reduce the price as well and still find willing sellers! -- John H
