The trip from my house(35mins to Gateway Bridge to Gosford took almost
12 hours, though I did have to stop for fuel for the car and the kids
so probably could save an hour or so if I did it my self.
return from Newcastle to home was 9 1/2 hours(two fuel stops and one
food stop)
I travelled at 5kph over posted limit the entire distance except for
towns where I did the limit

it was 11 hours from Brisbane Gateway to Mona Vale and the same on
return, this was the trip when I bought my Landcruiser(one vehicle on
sth leg and two on return)

this trip was done at 100 on open rds(even 110 zones)

but since the Brunswick Heads bypass and the Tugan bypass are now
finished there is another 20 mins saved

Bypassing Sextant Hill and St Helena would save another 30 mins at
least(especially for heavy vehicles)
