A judge has criticised police for going for easy targets rather than dealing
with crimes which have affected other people.

"A judge today hit out at a police force and accused them of concentrating
more on harassing motorists than dealing with serious crime and its victims.

Judge Richard O'Rorke made the comments after being told that a hearing to
confiscate the assets of a convicted fraudster would have to be postponed
because of a lack of manpower."

I suppose it makes a change from the police criticising judges for their
over-lenient sentencing and inappropriate bail decisions...
