If the car (which model is it?) takes weeks in between losing so much water
it overheats,..I'd suggest 2 things> 1. monitor your coolant water and top
up as needed on a daily basis, and 2, try and find where the coolant is
going. If it is the head or head-gasket, you should see water vapour
condensing on the palm of your hand. Pull each plug out in turn, get someone
to crank the engine while you face the palm of your hand at the empty
plug-hole..preferably with the ignition disabled so it wont start.
Also check for combustion gases in the radiator top-tank.

Just checked it then and it's full. Car started fine and held revs in reverse (auto).
