India actually has a high road toll. Reputed to be one of the highest
in the world. (depending on how you count the stats)

Media sites many reasons why: Growing traffic on roads unable to deal
with it. Driver inability due to licencing corruption enabling
untrained drivers to drive. Pedestrians, cyclists, motorcyclists are
the worst off, mainly because they either don't wear helmets, or metal
wins over flesh any day. Poorly maintained roads, along with roads
never designed to deal with the current levels of traffic are also sited.

See? Our politicians are right when they say speed cameras save lives.

It would have to be only a matter of time. Also, such disorder isn't
conducive to efficient use of the road - it reduces throughput.

It also reduces speeds - but don't tell the RTA that, or our rules will
be scrapped tomorrow.
