Dunno. Is "heap" one of the choices?
It had aircon , velour seats and a cd-changer and was on about an X plate.

When I started my current job I had a choice of a company car from the
existing spare vehicles or a car allowance.
One of the two cars available was the alfa. The other was a BMW 323SE which
was superficially in better condition but would have cost me a fortune in
car tax (and later turned out to be a total wreck as well).

I decided to take the money and bought Octy Mk1 for 13k.
Over the three years I ran it my allowance covered every penny I spent on it
so I'm happy I made the right choice.
I had a less prestigeous car but it was brand new and much nicer to drive as
well as saving me money

This one was "interesting"

That's base / Lusso, then. I think. Possibly. It depends on what the
owner wanted and what "Toni" could be arsed fitting, really.

Sounds like a Lusso, though. Was the seat fabric a bit corduroy?

Sounds like it was a shed, then. Shame, 'cos if you look after a 156
it'll last well.

I can't remember.
I've tried hard to forget it.

All I know is that it had only done 10k more than my octavia when I traded
it in , and while the octy just felt a little bit used the alfa felt like it
was not much longer for the road.

I thought you had had a bunny boiler stalker there Dervy but if you have
a look at alt.usenet.legends.lester-mosley you can see that she does it
to quite a few people

She still looks like a bit of a loon though. Be
afraid....................... :)
