At Cape Flattery, if you fail the alco or other drugs tests you're out
permanently -- unless you come from Hope Vale, in which case you can
re-apply after six months. (I think all(?) the other staff operate
under a fly-in/fly-out policy from Cairns. Week in, week out.)
