Saddle soap (which isn't the same as hand soap).

Costs around $13 for a large can, which isn't bad value if you've also
got leather seats or a leather lounge. Otherwise, if you happen to
know any horsey folk you'd only need to scrounge a teaspoon full for a
steering wheel! :)

I used a damp sponge and rubbed lightly. Worked well. There are treatments that you can use once
clean to help keep it clean.

Eucalyptus Oil Spray will help remove stains and disinfect.
