We have two local takeaways
both make pretty good steak works burgers
and hamburgers with real mince meat patties

Still quite a few Old corner stores around Brisbane, but unless you
venture away from the main roads you won't find them

Generally I look for tradies , they can usually find an ok feed

I don't miss them now, but at lunch time I used to look for a
"pie truck" in Townsville around the industrial areas and
building sites. Steak pie and mushy peas, yum.

Jus Burgers in Leederville and Subiaco make a great burger here in WA. Only
problem is they cost a shitload. Got burgers for me, the other half and 3 kids
the other day in and it was 65 bucks. They do a wagyu beef burger with wasabe
mayo that is bloody awesome.
