We used to look after a building that had a smorgas board for breakfast every day, my first trip there was a delight. Had Eggs, steak, sausages, beans, chips toast the works. Grand total was $4.80. The lady said that it had cost me enough already for that much so I could have a coffee for free, she needs to get out more, just a coffee in ajoint 1/2 k down the road was $3.50 on its own at that stage. As far as I know they still have that canteen there but most tradies are now band due to abuse of the system. (Blokes ruined it by turning up just for a feed and free carpark spot while not doing any work in the place. Bastards)

Probably the best value sit down one around here is the Postman's Restaurant Nowra at lunchtime - $12.00 and really good. A couple of the pubs do cheaper or same price with a free schooner, bu the burgers just aren't as nice! Cheers -- Posted at www.usenet.com.au
