You will probably need deep pockets to run a V10; they are complex!

For example, they have dual batteries with electronics to decide which to
use for starting, and what charging strategy to employ. The alternator is
water cooled, and driven via a two-speed gearbox, with electronics to
select the speed. They are electric-everything, including the tail gate.

If you have problems, an independent garage is unlikely to be able to fix
it, and VW dealers hourly rates are not far behind BMW or MB.
