Cheers for that. I regularly partake in a glass of windscreen wash when
I'm out for a drive.

Having had a foul smell from my washers I can understand the risk.

Incidentally - Legionella is spread by an aerosol mist - not by drinking.

Let's expect to see antibacterial screenwash additives (I could have done
with some). I flushed my washer tank with a hose pushed into the bottom -
but the smell came back.

This really is Scare Story of the Week isn't it. What next - don't change your
oil regularly and you'll be devoured by some mutant bug that lives on
dipsticks? Whoever did this "research" really needs to find something more
worthwhile to do with their time.

Well quite, but I'd still like to know where the other 80% of cases
are coming from ;-)

My water bottle froze several times this winter, despite the -8 anti-freeze
so I don't think much will have lived through that!
