From: Kiteflyer on 23 Jun 2010 08:58 They DON'T buy ANY car. They won't buy any of my cars. One because it has more than 6 owners, and one because it's over 6 years old. How are they getting away with saying this?

They also say there's no admin fee, which is a lie, as they charge £50. Though this has now been added to their tv advert. They also say they collect cars for free. No they don't!

I thought that it was a pretty outlandish claim but one which they could back up by simply offering utter pittance for cars that they didn't really want. Obviously not. Get hold of your local rag, they love a story like this. However, you might have to have your photo in the paper sat on your bonnet looking glum. Though this has now been added to their tv advert. >They also say they collect cars for free. No they don't! I've now known three people to use them and in all three cases the same MO happened. They agreed a price over the phone and were completely honest about the state of the car. However, when they took it to their local garage/depot, the inspection always moaned about something else, made out like it was in worse condition than they'd expected and then offered them something less (a value which they wouldn't have entertained over the phone), in the hope that the punter will just go along with it because they've already gone to the trouble of getting it there.
