I'm perfectly comfortable in who I am, thanks, without needing to try to prop my self-worth up by association with a bunch of massively overpaid cretins who wouldn't even acknowledge me if I bumped into them in the VIP room of a swish nightclub. Unless I was selling drugs or they wanted to steal my girlfriend. Oh, and btw - politically, I tend to sit slightly to the right of centre.

Strange, isn't it, how selective "patriotism" can be? Perhaps Bod would like to tell us - without looking it up - the names of the 2006 Mixed Doubles world champions in Badminton? They were, btw, English. Or - a much easier one - whether he was displaying visible support for England when they won the Twenty20 Cricket world championship not even two weeks ago?
