From: Ret. on 21 Jun 2010 11:38 Well, that's it. After 12 years of touring we sold the caravan today. Bought it for �8600 in 1998 and sold it for �3200, so it's depreciated �5400 in 12 years. Wish cars held their value so well. The buyer is off to get a tow-bar fitted and then it's bye-bye to the 'van. It will be sad to see it go - we've had some great holidays in it over the years. -- Kev

We advertised it at �3295 so didn't have to drop down too much to get the deal. They got a good deal because we have looked after it very well. For a twelve year old caravan it is spotlessly clean and in excellent condition all round. -- Kev
