Heh! I watched one yesterday, trying to park in a Currys car park. It
was almost painful to see. She managed to take up two spaces and at a
really silly angle.

In the whole time (2years) I have been engaged in transporting him I
have never yet had the situation where there is insufficient disabled
bays available, the ONLY time I have ever seen disabled bays being
queued for was in one of those mad shopping panics just before a
strike and that was when I was out in my own car.

Thats not really the point is it. Anyone could use that excuse to park in
a bay in that case.
