From: Marts on 25 Jul 2010 06:00 To the truckies, how is the new rule about keeping left going? Causing hassles, adapting to it, what? Certainly the day that it came into force, shitloads of truckies were calling the talkback stations. Unfortunately for them the commentators were less than sympathetic.

There is absolutely no need for trucks to sit in the right lane of multi-lane highways. -- Regards, Noddy.

A lot seem to think that they do have that right judging by the number of trucks that drive in the right lane.

Eastlink is *really* bad because there are so many speed camera's on it, and so many cars with inaccurate speedo's, and so many inconsiderate prick drivers who deliberate sit side by side. I don't care what lane they are in so much as when they sit side by side on cruise control at exactly the same speed as someone in the next lane. FFS speed up or drop back, change lanes, then hit resume! MrT.

Most of the blokes you talk to are probably truck drivers, and most of them think they're flying the Space Shuttle. -- Regards, Noddy.
