Same with utes Falcon utes cost less than sedans when new, but try getting a good one for under $9000, I paid $10,000 for mine(XLS) and that was around $2000-$3000 cheaper than anything else I could find Kev

Yeah I told him to just take one of the $5K offers, but he can't let go of the idea that someone who will pay more might be just around the corner. He's the type that continues to shop for a car even after he bought it (e.g. 1 year down the track "oh this one has power floor mats and cross-drilled ash tray and is only $500 more, did I get ripped off???") so I don't think I have much chance of convincing him.
