I have no objection to the police fighting serious crime, like killer drivers. It is only when they are used to suppress what might be considered human rights or political protests that I complain. Little details like "facts" and "truth" and "accuracy" and "actual responsibility" are far less important to you than whether you might or might not disapprove of the mode of transport involved.
