New Zetec 1.25l engine for Fiesta
Hi all, I decided not to go the knackered-car-and-swap-engines route and am now looking at recon engines. I have had a quote from Heathrow Engines (reconditioned-engines.co.uk)for a new engine including fitting for 795 plus VAT. This is apparently a brand new engine, not a recon or remanufactured model. ... 15 Feb 2007 14:59

Nissan Micra '98 cut-out and wont restart
Hi there. I got into my micra today to head off to work and it started fine. I pulled away and stopped at the junction of my street, which happens to be quite steep, so engage the handbreak. I waited until there was a gap in the traffic, get the car to the bite and put a reasonable amount of gas in (no more than I ... 10 Feb 2007 18:26
I'm trying to bleed the brakes on a MkI Punto. My pressure bleeding kit is very, very slightly too big for the fluid reservoir top - you think it's screwed on OK, then you apply (reduced) tyre pressure to it and it pops off and fluid spurts everywhere :-( I've tried tightening a hoseclip around the cap to sto... 27 Dec 2006 20:21
2004 BMW 320td Sport Compact
Hi, I'm just buying one, which seems to be in great condition, but I don't have a good mechanical knowledge. I'm hoping that it will be largely trouble free for me over the next couple of y... 6 Dec 2006 18:47

If... 4 Dec 2006 19:46

Anyone own a Rolson's 12V Jump Start with Air Compressor unit?
If so I'd appreciate if you have a look at the mains adapter and let me know what is written on the back or send me a digital snap. In my flat clearout I misplaced the mains adapter for the unit. I've found what I think is the mains adapter but I'd like to be certain. Any help much appreciated. Cheers. --... 2 Sep 2006 16:19
