The google car was doing 23 mph

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Bury&sll=51.184831,-1.856947&sspn=0.016785,0.0842&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Bury,+Lancashire,+United+Kingdom&layer=c&cbll=53.571158,-2.286121&panoid=AwCs8E_57VzMcwjOhjD3Yw&cbp=12,10.73,,0,5.59&ll=53.571205,-2.286015&spn=0,0.1684&z=13

This lay-by is where a speed camera van has been parked a couple of
hundred yards behind the electronic sign
