It's still done down here on occasion. Late last year on the way to Ballarat the cops were pulling over every car doing breath tests, and they also had a few members from the Sheriff's office doing their checks as well as two or three EPA guys running checks on anything they thought was suspect. > BTW, you get a few cowboys from the EPA you know? And it's not like there's never been a copper who hasn't stuck an unjustified canary on any car before, right? :) Give people a "badge", and it adds a couple inches to their appendage....... -- Regards, Noddy.

It's no fun without the EPA (DECC) being there to pitch in as well. Makes for some fantastic multilingual arguments :-) Spooky

Privately, though, is another matter :)))) Do you consider this NG "private" enough? Hmmmm, class that as rhetorical, there probably is a clown or two that would be anti-authority bent enough to want to do you ill. Shaneful though that would be. :-P I really don't believe there are many in here that see the severity of and the probable catastrophic results that *will* occur if these hoons and crims are not made to conform to the laws and regulations that "normal" Australians have too. Just reflect on the riots and terrorist acts overseas fellas. It will happen here if things continue to get more out of hand. We need some pollies with guts and balls to reverse this trend IMO or our children and their children are in for a rough, rough time. Stop immigration (we don't need, or are able to support this 35m population figure), give Police more appropriate powers to combat (eek) groups that hide behind their religious (doubtful) masks and to hell with the world leaders telling us what our water depleted continent can support, and tell your MP's to toughen up or ping off. I'm going outside to put two legal driving light on my truck. Doing a lot of k's between the two states lately (a lot at night). Is that back on topic ... hmmmm, it's so I can see the hoons eyes widen up when the bullbar with two 130w halogens brightens up their lives. :-) -- Take Care. ~~ Feral Al ( @..@) (\- :-P -/) ((.>__oo__<.)) ^^^ % ^^^ |
