So if we assume £200 for four Toyos or two Michs...

Toyo - 2.2p/mile
Mich - 2.6p/mile

Is that extra grip - and the hassle factor of the extra tyre change -
really worth 0.4p/mile? What's the total running cost of the car - fuel,
maintenance, insurance, tax, depreciation, etc?

There y'go, then. The difference in cost between those tyres is less than
_half_ of one percent of the total running cost of the car...

Or, to look at it another way, 7 metres per mile...

Thanks for the confirmation, yet again, that if you wrote everything you
know about driving on the back of a stamp in 14pt type it would still
leave room for your CV and a lifesize drawing of your penis.

Close, it hasn't been wet enough to test their wet performance but in
the dry they suck. I can feel them reaching the limits of grip on curved
slip roads.
