B/W probably means 'between', which suggests you were on the highway
between those two streets - did they name the Pacific highway?. A quick
Google shows that there is another street (Kent) between those two
intersections, so the location is imprecise. I would be querying it and
also asking for the full details of the speed limit and your speed -
aren't they *required* to do that? (Long time since I've been busted..)

Google Earth will give you some images - try 9574 Pacific Highway as
your search. Click on the little camera - is that you behind the truck?

And make them work for their money.

Yep. I drive past it several times a week.

You would have to be almost asleep at the wheel to miss the Woodburn
speed camera. Like all fixed speed cameras in NSW there are large signs
posted to warn you that you are approaching them. If you didn't see the
signs you have serious situational awareness problems.

If it is any consolation, that 50km/h section of the Pacific Highway will
be bypassed by a nice dual carriageway motorway within a couple of years.
Work is in progress now, so there is a good chance that the next time you
come up this way you won't get booked by that camera :)

There is absolutely no way to challenge a speed cam
offence in NSW.

As pointed out by others
it's 50kph so if you were doing 65 like everyone else then your done

Woodburn has a very busy main street and 50kph is quite adequate
lots of vehicles stopping in front of the shops and the public amenities
not to mention the servo on the bend just south of the shops

I stop there when ever I pass through in the truck, the 24hour takeaway
is a good place to get a feed

The problem is Kev, the lovely little town of Woodburn should not have its main commercial centre on
the main highway between Brisbane a Sydney, or , rather, the highway should not go through that
little town.

It is absolutely outrageous to have a 50 kph limit on ANY part of that road between Sydney and
Brisbane. All of the bypass roads should have been completed 20 or even 40 years ago.

If you take into account the immense and tragic loss of life and limb on that road in the past 40
years, we could have easily built a 4 lane divided highway all the way, and we should complete it
NOW!
