It generally comes under due care and attention as it is required by the
highway code. The worst cases come under obstructing the highway.

238: You should drive in the left-hand lane if the road ahead is clear. If
you are overtaking a number of slower moving vehicles it may be safer to
remain in the centre or outer lanes until the manoeuvre is completed rather
than continually changing lanes. Return to the left-hand lane once you have
overtaken all the vehicles or if you are delaying traffic behind you. Slow
moving or speed restricted vehicles should always remain in the left-hand
lane of the carriageway unless overtaking. You MUST NOT drive on the hard
shoulder except in an emergency or if directed to do so by signs.

We're too pissed off by dangerous MLOC fucktards to speak proper.

Christian.

Why do some people get so exercised over it? Don't want to use it, don't
use it. Getting your knickers in a twist over it's just a bit silly,
though. They're only words, unless _you_ internally make more of them.

In this case, they're very appropriate words that describe the perpetrators
of such inconsideration rather well.

It's not 'foul'. It's now known as 'strong' language - don't you watch TV?
Have you ever heard them say 'this film contains foul language'?

Exactly. Somebody who's failing to use a junction correctly.

Unless, of course, you're suggesting that other drivers frequently come up
behind you on a non-junction stretch, change to the hard shoulder to pass
you on the left then try to push you out of L1 into L2?

'Post' (mail) has as its origin just what I said - a fixed thing or place.
Look it up.
