This drivers strike ?

Yeah, I think we can agree on that. Thus flying a plane is not (necessarily) harder than driving a ... 23 Jun 2008 23:02
Worst Road Sign In The Country
I nominate a sign at Junction 24 of the M62 on the A629 from Huddersfield. It is so old and faded and not illuminated at night. longitude 1.84718502083746 latitude 53.68048644693039 ... 24 Apr 2008 06:07
How to annoy tailgaters
So you spot someone coming up behind you very quickly in your rear view mirror, obviously in a hurry and would like you out of their way. The highway code states if that happens you should slow down. But what other ways are there to annoy them? 1. When you arrive at a roundabout only pull away when there are abs... 2 Feb 2008 05:07
Dying for a Wee
Yesterday I was stuck in a Motorway jam for well over an hour and my bladder was getting dangerously full. From the highway code site http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/TravelAndTransport/Highwaycode/DG_069862 all they say is you can only stop in an emergency etc, but surely in this case I have become unfit to drive a... 26 Jan 2008 07:19

FACT: Truvelo cameras are now able to get you from behind!
Has anybody ever seen the Truvelo speed cameras that not also have the piezo strips but the Gatso style calibration marks too? Well be warned these Truvelos not only get you from the front, they can now get you from behind! I know this to be true as I recently went through one (speeding slightly) that was facing ... 11 Sep 2007 15:34

14 day Rule
How does this work in terms of receiving a brown envelope for running a red light. A rookie driver, I misjudged one recently (on the way back from my pass plus meeting). Not sure if it had a camera but it looked like it might have and i've been paranoid for 11 days now! Am I doomed? Would it have flashed? If I... 15 Sep 2007 06:25

Interesting chat with a "professional" driver.
I've been having a chat with a local trucky where he was more than happy to tell of how he disables his speed limiter and fixes the tachograph readings across a range of lorries that he drives. Quite interesting really as he has then used the fixed tachograph and a calibration cert to "prove" he wasn't speeding... 22 Jul 2007 18:29
