Costs money to take your own vehicle across. It also costs to hire a bike over there. Flights aren't exactly cheap either. However, my wife wasn't entirely keen on doing a 600 mile hit on the back of a bike in 2 days. Especially as we'd also have a 100 or so mile trip to the port in the UK, in October. The pillion seat on a bike isn't a nice place to be when it's cold and wet - as the UK and Northern Spain tend to be at that time of year. -- SteveH 'You're not a real petrolhead unless you've owned an Alfa Romeo' www.italiancar.co.uk - Honda VFR800 - Hongdou GY200 - Alfa 75 TSpark Alfa 156 TSpark - B6 Passat 2.0TDI SE - COSOC KOTL BOTAFOT #87 - BOTAFOF #18 - MRO # - UKRMSBC #7 - Apostle #2 - YTC #

Depends on the company, really. If they fired the field management team, we would no longer have a UK business. -- SteveH 'You're not a real petrolhead unless you've owned an Alfa Romeo' www.italiancar.co.uk - Honda VFR800 - Hongdou GY200 - Alfa 75 TSpark Alfa 156 TSpark - B6 Passat 2.0TDI SE - COSOC KOTL BOTAFOT #87 - BOTAFOF #18 - MRO # - UKRMSBC #7 - Apostle #2 - YTC #

When I feel like it, I send other people to do my job in my place. I doubt you can do that, wage slave. And middle management types tend to put in many long and unsociable hours too for fear of losing their jobs to colleagues who do come firing time. -- Conor The surprise isn't how often we make bad choices; the surprise is how seldom they defeat us.
