I've certainly seem them doing so. Many of them do not know some of the
more minor roads in outer London in any case.

OK, so it's a 'maybe'. At the moment I don't feel that I need a satnav.

Neither have I but in any profession I have had I would select tools
that would make it easier for me to do my job whatever it was.

There speaks a person who has never used Satnav.

As for cheaper, it isn't. I had a decades worth of A to Z's covering
about as much of the country as possible. Cost me well over �500 and
some of them were in dire need of replacing, especially Birmingham.

As for just as easy, I fail to see how.
