So why aren't you campaigning against smoking? After all, it kills
thirtyfold what the road death figures are.

The benefits outweigh the risks.

Tell me, how are those cities sustained? The people in it are not living
a car free existence at all, but merely shifting the use to others.

How would such a city be fed and provide the goods its citizens demand?

Another story from a long time ago, this time 16 months old. Since
then cars have killed about 4000 people.
Try and keep things into perspective.

You also missed out this bit!

Correction 14 August 2009:
An earlier version of this story, based on an agency report,
*incorrectly* stated that Hall had mounted the pavement to avoid a red
traffic light.

Last time I checked, the groups were uk.rec.cycling and
uk.rec.driving.
Not uk.rec.smoking.
Try to keep on topic.
