Utterly wrong.

try having a look in a few dictionaries, for definitions of the word
"native". You won't find one which limits it to countries.

I do wish you would stop trying to redefine the English language to
fit in with your prejudices.

Of course it is.

If you recognise those words as having meaning, then you must
recognise "European" as having meaning.

No, but the words you use are defined either by a dictionary, or by
common usage where that has not yet been incorporated.

On either count, you are using the word incorrectly.

We do not need to know you at all.

You are either lying about being English, or you are simply wrong
about being European.

Knowing you makes not the slightest bit of difference.

That is not true.

Your *country* is England, but your *nationality* is British.

Nationality is based on your *nation* not your *country* (although
with many of the nations in the world, they are the same thing).

But nobody has ever suggested that European is your nationality. It
isn't, and it can't be, unless and until a nation of Europe comes into
existence.

But the fact that "European" is not your nationality does NOT mean you
are not European.
